Our neighbors in Houston, Galveston, and the Gulf Coast will not soon forget the rampage that was hurricane Ike in September 2008. One thing is for certain - when things got out of hand, USP&E was there to make sure the people affected by this disaster had the power they needed! As Ike made landfall and the devastation began, USP&E was awarded several rental contracts for emergency backup generators for shelters, modular offices, tents and other temporary buildings. FEMA and other disaster recovery agencies found that a shortage of generators existed and USP&E found enough generators to fulfill this void.
